Meet the Sound Core Crew

Joe C.- Joe is the owner of Sound Core Music & Video, which has been is business for over 30 years. In that time he has had many jobs and oppurtunities as a DJ, Producer, Director, Sound Technician, and musician/director of the Southern Illinois Blues Allstars. Joe has worked with great names and artists such as the Dixie Chicks, John Entwistle, Buddy Guy, Tracy Lawrence, Jerry Reed, and Loretta Switt ("Hot Lips")! You name it and Joe has done it. He will do everything it takes to accomodate and needs or requests to make your day more special. Joe is "The Man".

Eric Mittan - Eric has been working with Sound Core since 2007. He is Sound Core's main Apple Repair Technician. He can also be seen from time to time on our Video Production Crew. Eric is an Apple Certified Professional in Final Cut Pro and Color. Eric is available for consultation to edit your documentary or film.

Jason Allison - Jason is the Chief Video Producer/Editor at Sound Core. He can also assist you with your Apple Computer questions. Jason enjoys playing guitar and mandolin in his band. He has been working at Sound Core since 2007.

Don Walter - Don is Sound Core's main Guitar and Instrument Tech. If your guitar is due for a setup, Don is your man. He is also extremely knowledgeable in all things audio. He is available to assist you with any of your musical needs.

Marcus Blakemore - "DJ Marc B" is one of our DJ's. He also works in the store. If you have any questions about audio equipment, especially DJ equipment, Marcus is your man. Marcus has been working at Sound Core since 2008.

James E. Lord - James is one of Sound Core's video producers/editors. He also works as Sound Core's webmaster, currently redesigning SoundCoreMusic.com and creating quality Web sites for our clients. He has a Bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois university Carbondale in Radio Television with an emphasis in Video Production. James has been working at Sound Core since 2009.
